Kateri Catholic School System

building_260pxWelcome to Kateri Catholic School System, the Toledo area's only comprehensive pre-kindergarten through grade 12 Catholic school system! Our system is comprised of Cardinal Stritch High School and Kateri Catholic Academy.

Kateri Catholic Academy is the result of three Catholic elementary schools with their supporting parishes and five Catholic churches without parish schools in the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Deanery of the Diocese of Toledo joining together with CSHS to create a strong elementary and middle school serving our community.

The Catholic churches that comprise the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Deanery include Good Shepherd, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Sacred Heart, St. Ignatius, St. Jerome, St. Stephen and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Rather than one Catholic church supporting its own school, an entire Catholic community is supporting our school system.
 

Cardinal Stritch High School has "new" home field

Cardinal Stritch High School and Clay High School recently finalized a mutually beneficial partnership for the 2010 football season.

The Oregon City Schools and Clay High School have agreed to share the use of their football stadium with CSHS. As part of the agreement, CSLine_upHS will rent Oregon Clay Memorial Stadium for five varsity-level football games. For each home game, Clay High School will make available locker room facilities for both home and away teams, ticket booths, concession stands, rest rooms, press box, PA system, the newly installed scoreboard, as well as parking. The Clay Band Boosters will provide the concession items for each home game and CSHS will provide the volunteers to man it. The Clay Band Boosters will split the profits of concessions sales for each game with the CSHS athletic department.

CSHS home varsity football games at Oregon Clay Memorial Stadium will be:
    ?    Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. vs. Plymouth Christian Academy (Homecoming)
    ?    Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. vs. Ottawa Hills
    ?    Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. vs. Toledo Christian
    ?    Oct. 9 at 2:30 p.m. vs. Gilmour Academy
    ?    Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. vs. Edon
 

Cardinals kick off fall sports season

Cardinal Stritch High School's fall sports program is in full swing. Our golf and soccer teams have already gotten off to a great start.

This weekend, our varsity football team plays its first game against St. Joseph Central Catholic tonight at 7:30 p.m. Our varsity girls' volleyball team will kick off their season Saturday, August 28 at 10 a.m. in the CSHS Gymnasium with the Maumee/Fostoria Tri-Match.
