From the start of the 2012-2013 sports seasons, in the fall, you could sense Cardinal Stritch athletics was ready to make a move to a new level. Some of the events that propelled the Cardinals to their second place Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) All-Sports Trophy finish (only 5.5 points behind the champion Eagles of Toledo Christian) were the Volleyball and Girls Basketball teams' second place finishes in the TAAC. The Boys Basketball team helped out the tally as they ended up in 3rd place. The Girls and Boys Track teams both ended up in third place in the TAAC and the Baseball Team came out on top by winning a co-championship for first place points. All of our sports contributed with every win they had.

The All-Sports Trophy is awarded to the high school that tallies the most points for the Fall, Winter, and Spring league sports. Points are awarded on how each high school finishes in each of the league's sports. Cardinal Stritch and St. Kateri athletics continue to get better and the athletic department is appreciative of everyone's support of our teams and programs. The goal is to keep our athletic teams striving to be better so we can be bring home the TAAC All-Sports Trophy to Stritch soon.
