CSCHS Clubs & Activities

There are many opportunities for CSCHS students to participate in athletics, clubs, groups and other organizations. Taking part in extracurricular activities can be a very rewarding part of the Stritch Catholic experience. Contact Mr. Petro, Director of Student Life, with other questions. (mpetro@katerischools.org)

Students interested in forming a new club should follow the Club Proposal Process.

Mission statement: “Who better to actively seek to protect the natural beauty of our world through recycling than those who work to make the world a more beautiful place.”

The Art and the Recycling Clubs merged in 2009 to form the Art & Recycling Club in response to a $10,000 grant awarded by the BP A+ for Energy program for the purpose of educating and initiating a recycling program for Cardinal Stitch. We have continued to support the recycling efforts of the school as well as to celebrate the visual arts through monthly meetings.

The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. It recognizes the hard work students put into grades and class work. More than just academics, students involved must also demonstrate excellence in areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. CSCHS NHS members apply these attributes while washing desks after school on Wednesdays, making blankets for people fighting cancer, and so much more.

The CSCHS Quiz Bowl team is made up of students, who have quick minds, a vast amount of random knowledge, and are highly competitive. This is a team devoted to one event: the TAAC Quiz Bowl Challenge that is held in March.
