Learning A "Work Of Art" For 4th Graders

As part of our Ohio History studies, our students researched one tribe of our Ohio Historic Indians. Each child made a 3-D model of shelter (tipi, wigwam, or long house) and gave an oral presentation about the lives of the Indians who once lived in the area.

The models were amazing and the research reports were very educational. Students practiced making good eye contact to keep their audience engaged during their presentation. We are glad to report that every project was unique and outstanding!
