Early childhood education provides the transition from home to a school environment. The Kateri Catholic Academy preschool offers a comprehensive program for children ages 3-4.
Through a supervised, structured play approach to learning, the children are given a range of opportunities to enhance their potential for intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual growth, all for which support the development of the whole child.

Recently the Pre-kindergarten studied a unit on community helpers. Special guests included: Musician Jean Badik, Wtol Meteorologist Chris Vickers, and Ms. Lydia, Oregon librarian.

Our Pre-K students enjoyed a Fall hayride around our school campus. They have been learning about the Fall Season in class.
Oregon Firefighter, Jim Maher, visited the Pre-K classes to teach fire safety during fire prevention week.
