Tuition and Scholarships

Kateri Catholic Schools seek to partner with all parents who desire the high level of Catholic education that is offered. Therefore, the school provides tuition grants to numerous students. In 2012-2013, the school provided financial assistance totaling over $1,100,000!!!
 
The largest amount of financial aid awarded is in the form of grants that are based solely on need. Financial need is based on family income, expenditures, number of children in the family and other parochial tuition costs incurred. Students who receive named scholarships are also eligible for grants. Grants range from $250-$2,500 depending on need.
 
We require all parents who want to be considered for financial grants to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application online at www.factstuitionaid.com. The application will be available beginning on November 1, 2012.  There is a $30 fee to apply, paid directly to FACTS.  FACTS is an independent company that processes the application and supporting documentation in order to produce a Needs Assessment report for the school. This enables us to be sure that our awards are distributed in the most equitable way possible. If you need assistance filing electronically, contact the Finance Department. Be assured that strict professional confidentiality is maintained with regard to your family’s financial information.
 
Do you want to get a jump start on your financial aid application for the 2013-2014 school year? The application period opens on November 1, 2012 at www.factstuitionaid.com. You must also mail or fax your 2011 or 2012 tax return and 2012 W-2’s to FACTS in order for your application to be complete.  Please note it takes approximately two weeks for FACTS to process your tax documentation and the school can not process a financial aid award until the tax documentation is received. The deadline for application is January 11, 2013 for incoming Freshmen and February 8, 2013 for all other students.  Remember that all families must reapply each year.
